THE TITLE OF A POST IS MOST IMPORTANT

How To Write a Great Blog Post in WordPress
If you just started blogging, you are going to figure out how to write a great post by output_0p5sN8 just doing it.  Here are some tips in Writing a Great Post.

  1. Have a GREAT TITLE.  The title is how your blog post will be found via internet searches.  For example, “How to Make a Floating Headboard Cheap and Easy”… google it.  You will find My Post.
  2. Make sure your TITLE IS IN YOUR BLOG POST.  It is really important that your TITLE is used within your post and TAGS!  This is SEO.
  3. TAGS- make sure your TITLE IS IN YOUR TAG.  Make sure you use RELEVANT TAGS so people can find your site/post!
  4. Include IMAGES with Hyperlinks.  Create a great user experience for you readers.  Make sure they have information on the topic.
  5. Last… if you have informative video, like a youtube or vimeo video, include that for your reader.  If you are posting on a How To, make sure to include a clean, hdvideo…. example.

    20140528_180432_resizedSo how do you get rid of smelly shoes odor?  I found out…. I don’t wear socks and this can make your shoes a nightmare.  I used to used shoe powder and spray until I read about FREEZING YOUR SHOES.

    Very simple:  put your shoes in a plastic bag and put in a freezer for an hour or so.  Boom, Done, Odor Gone……………….

    That is how to get rid of the bacteria ridden shoes…. another thing you can do if your shoes are really scary… Put them in the sun for an hour and then place in the freezer….

    DIY – How to make a Floating Headboard 

    After watching DIY, I soon realized I could make a Floating Headboard by myself.  It took a few hours, $60.00 in product, and simple math.  It could of been cheaper, but I chose to get solid birch for the 1″ backing.  This piece was glued behind the plank.  I wanted them solid and flat.

    DIY - Floating Headboard
    4 Planks, 4 1″ pieces of backing, 4 Nails … Done.

    What materials I used:

    • (4) planks from Home Depot
    • (4) 1″ wood piece to attach to the back of the planks to give the Floating look.  (attached with Gorilla glue for Wood)
    • (4) 2.5″ Nails (yes, I only used 4 nails right into the stud of the wall).
    • Dark Stain with polyurethane.  I used a sponge roller to apply the stain.  No little back and forth, only long slow rolls…
    • First I gorilla glued 1″ wood pieces to the back of the planks (this is the floating look).
    • Second, I stained the planks.
    • Third, I measured the wall and drew my layout making sure I used the stud on the wall.
    • Fourth, I pre drilled the holes on the plank and the wall…
    • Finally, I attached one by one and couldn’t believe how perfect it looked! Good Luck …..
