  • FILE NEW EVENT (MAKE SURE PROJECT IS CHECKED WHEN CREATING AN EVENT)

 

*** keeping the Event & Project allows you to stay organized and not get confused with other Events for different Projects.

  • OPEN A BROWSER WINDOW – DOWNLOAD (5) HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES TO A FOLDER ON YOUR DESKTOP
  • NAME THE FOLDER – “IMAGES
  • RETURN TO FCPX

  • IN FCPX, GO TO “FILE” – “IMPORT” (IMPORT YOUR IMAGES) #1

 

  • NOW, DRAG THEM DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OR EDITING AREA.
  • MAKE IMAGES 3 SECONDS MAX

 

 

 

  • NOW LOCATE “TRANSITIONS”  #2

 

  • EXPERIMENT BY PULLING A TRANSITION IN BETWEEN THE IMAGES.

  • NOW “EXPORT” YOUR SIMPLE PROJECT  #3

  • PUT ON DESKTOP IN A FOLDER WITH YOUR LASTNAME AND TITLE IT “FCPX INTRO“.
