HOW TO ADD A PAGE IN WORDPRESS AND MAKE IT APPEAR IN THE NAVIGATION

  • 1ST – FIND PAGES AND MAKE SURE YOU SELECT PAGES – ADD NEW. DO NOT DO A POST.
  • 2ND – SELECT “BLANK PAGE”
  • 3RD – TITLE IT CORRECTLY. IF IT’S YOUR NASDAQ PAGE, NAME IS NASDAQ. THIS WILL BE AT THE ABSOLUTE TOP OF THE PAGE. IT WILL BE AUTO BOLD.
  • 4TH – TO ADD CONTENT LOOK FOR THE + / PLUS SYMBOL. ADD WHAT YOU NEED.
  • 5TH – ONCE COMPLETE – SAVE THE PAGE ON THE RIGHT, YOU WILL NEED TO “PUBLISH” IT TO BE VISIBLE.

NOW – GO TO APPEARANCE – MENUS

NEXT GO TO MANAGE LOCATIONS AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.  MAKE SURE YOUR TOP MENU IS ASSIGNED OR IT WILL NOT SHOW.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NEXT GO BACK TO “EDIT MENUS” AND ADD THE PAGE TO YOUR MENU.  DRAG IT WHERE YOU WANT IT.  IT CAN BE A PARENT (TOP) OR CHILD (DROPDOWN) PAGE.

 

NOW SAVE MENU ON THE RIGHT.  ALWAYS “SAVE” OR “UPDATE” OR YOUR WORK WILL NOT SHOW.
