I would think kids today are thinking about their safety in America today. Everything on the news is riots, anger, fighting and anxiety. How can they come away with the feeling of comfort after watching the nightly news?
When you look online you see self promotion, fake stories and questionable beliefs. What are they to think? How do decipher information that is real? I really think kids today have to become more investigative and question everything they hear in order to have a clearer picture of the world that surrounds them.
Today more than ever kids have apps, websites and other information gathering tools that can lead to confusion. Parents, teachers can’t do it all, media moguls like Facebook and Twitter need to be on the lookout for fake and false theories that can lead to ingrained confusion.

Why is Teaching the best job in America
First, you get to work with the kids of this country. No matter where you live, working with kids is more fun than you think. Kids are hungry for knowledge whether they know it or not. Teaching also allows a greater time to enjoy life. We work 188 days of 365! Having summers off is just another perk in teaching.
One way to stay young and in touch is teaching. Teaching kids of any age will keep you young in the head. You constantly verse up on the lingo, the fashion and music trends. The students are always ready to share their experiences, good or bad. They continually seek information that can give them an advantage. The advantage can be in a certain subject or a better way to navigate the internet.
