WHAT A TEAcher thinks today

WHAT A TEACHER THINKS TODAY

AS A TEACHER OF 25+ YEARS, I THINK A MULTITUDE OF THINGS. I THINK KIDS TODAY ARE EXTREMELY CODDLED, OVER AIDED, OVER ASSISTED, AND TOO DEPENDENT. I ALSO BELIEVE KIDS RELY TOO HEAVILY ON APPS AND GAMES TO FUNCTION.

IT’S 2021 AND LOOKING FORWARD, I FEEL EDUCATION CAN EXPAND TO ALL REGIONS EQUALLY AS LONG AS KIDS STAY ENGAGED AND WANT TO LEARN. I REALLY THINK TOO MANY KIDS THINK THEY CAN BECOME GAMERS OR TIKTOKERS AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEIR FUTURE.

I AM CONCERNED AND A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT OUR FUTURE. I HOPE THE “SUSS” AND “FAKE NEWS” SUBSIDES AND WE CAN GET BACK TO A LITTLE NORMALCY

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE GLOBE ESPECIALLY THE KIDS IN THE UNITED STATES AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE KIDS AT BMMS!

WHAT A MIDDLE SCHOOL KID IN AMERICA THINKS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY TODAY 2021

I would think kids today are thinking about their safety in America today. Everything on the news is riots, anger, fighting and anxiety. How can they come away with the feeling of comfort after watching the nightly news?

When you look online you see self promotion, fake stories and questionable beliefs. What are they to think? How do decipher information that is real? I really think kids today have to become more investigative and question everything they hear in order to have a clearer picture of the world that surrounds them.

Today more than ever kids have apps, websites and other information gathering tools that can lead to confusion. Parents, teachers can’t do it all, media moguls like Facebook and Twitter need to be on the lookout for fake and false theories that can lead to ingrained confusion.
